A patient undergoing treatment could have their response monitored in real time, without needing to travel to a major medical center. This speed could be critical for catching recurrences early. While challenges remain in scaling production and ensuring regulatory approval, the direction is clear. The future of oncology may rely less on massive machines and more on handheld tools that put the power of diagnosis directly into the hands of the clinician.
