Israeli startup REE Automotive has announced its expectations to generate revenue of up to $770 million by the year 2030 through a licensing agreement with an undisclosed company. This deal focuses on providing advanced technology for the development of autonomous vehicles.
REE, which has established partnerships with notable clients such as van rental company U-Haul and French aerospace giant Airbus, revealed that it has already signed a preliminary agreement with the unnamed firm and is on track to finalize a definitive contract shortly.
The innovative company has strategically avoided the significant manufacturing investments that have burdened many electric vehicle startups. Instead, REE is focusing on leveraging its proprietary technology through licensing, positioning itself as a key player in the evolving automotive landscape. This approach not only minimizes financial risk but also allows REE to scale its operations effectively while contributing to the advancement of autonomous vehicle technology.
