For the seventh consecutive year, South Texas College's Information Technology department hosted its Rockin’ IT event, inviting nearly 90 middle school students to experience a day filled with hands-on activities and learning opportunities in the field of technology. The event aimed to spark interest in IT careers among young students by providing them with interactive experiences that highlight the importance of technology in today's world.
Participants engaged in a variety of workshops and demonstrations, allowing them to explore different aspects of information technology, including coding, cybersecurity, and digital media.
